On June 2nd and 3rd I did a Needle Felting Class with the 4th graders at Pocomoke Middle. 90 of them (Not all at once of course! We did 6 sessions of 15 children.)Whew! First time I had ever done such a large project! Each child made a nest with 3 eggs to take home and together the entire 4th grade created this:
Well, not completely. :-) They did everything but the swan necks and heads, which I made and then anchored everything in place. Which took me most of the weekend.... which is why I didn't post! I am so happy with the way it all turned out and hope the kids had as much fun as I did! The swans will be on display at the Poco Middle Library.
Now we are gearing up for the 5 day BIS Art Camp and our own fiber camp in the beginning of August.
