April WAPF Meeting

What do you do when you hear a diagnosis of cancer? Vernon Jones, local Snow Hill resident and cancer survivor, will share his experience and advice at the Weston A. Price Foundation’s meeting on April 14th at 3-4:30pm at Upper Room Studio. Vernon Jones, a Weston A. Price Foundation supporter has served on the Worcester County Health Department Tobacco/Cancer Coalition, Maryland Collaborative Policy and Prevention Committees, and cancer Control Society. Come prepared and bring questions and concerns for a lively, interactive discussion on prevention and treatment of cancer from a very practical and first-hand viewpoint. The role of diet especially in consuming organic, non-genetically modified foods in cancer prevention will be highlighted.

The Weston A. Price Foundation is dedicated to restoring nutrient-dense foods to the human diet through education, research and activism. It supports a number of movements that contribute to this objective including accurate nutrition instruction, organic and biodynamic farming, pasture-feeding of livestock, community-supported farms, honest and informative labeling, prepared parenting and nurturing therapies. Specific goals include establishment of universal access to clean, certified raw milk and a ban on the use of soy formula for infants. Dr. Price's research demonstrated that humans achieve perfect physical form and perfect health generation after generation only when they consume nutrient-dense whole foods and the vital fat-soluble activators found exclusively in animal fats.
