We have been doing a lot of baking with the agave sweetener and are extremely plesased with the taste. Even Dave loves it. We are finally starting to embrace the fact that it may cost a bit more for the healthier ingerdients but it is worth it in that it will lower the cost of healthcare, supplements, and the the toll on our bodies. Agave is an all natural sweetner that can be used in lieu of sugar, honey, maple syrup, and engineered sweetners, such as sucralose and aspartame. The agave plant, native to Mexico is often mistaken for a cactus plant but is a member of the Lily family. Agave is an all natural, calorie saving, low glycemic index sweetner that can be used as an effective tool in reducing calories and losing weight, increasing energy, improving health, boosting your immune system, improving regularity, and increasing bone density. The best part is that it taste awesome!! We have tried stevia and it did not pass the "Dave" test. There is much more to write about the benefits of using agave but time doesn't permit.
