From the Desk of Lisa ;-)

Lisa writes. Yes, it's a long overdue miracle that I am posting. I really have much to say but am quite limited at this season in my life. I so enjoyed seeing old and new friends at Fiber Fest this weekend. Everyone showed must patience and grace at our booth when Monika and Summer had to leave and play violins at a wedding. Thanks especially to Tammy and Jen for their continuous help and support but most especially at Fiber Fest. You are such a blessing! Also, I am so thankful to Claire, her mom, and Ashley for all their hard work in putting the Fest on!!!

The real reason I am writing is to discuss our business hours. I know we may seem quite "unprofessional" but we are a family and always include our customers in our family...like or not!! You may even read on Ravelry as to how many happen to come during lunch or dinner and are invited in. Our hours seem limited at this time but we have many people that call after dinner for help on a project or come by on a Sunday or any day and.. at all hours! We enjoy the distraction from the "normal activities" of the day. We appreciate the grace and mercy with us closing shop occasionally to take a family excursion. I just wanted everyone to know that we are here most all of the time during the week. So please do not hesitate to call to see if we are here. We are happy to open shop.

I thank you all so much for the encouragement given to my children with their creating fiber arts. Many have helped them along the way giving advice and teaching them new ways and inspiring them. I guess you know I don't have much time for that since Bertie has been born. They are so blessed when someone buys one of their creations! I know they can get kind of rowdy when customers come. Sorry for that. We are all works in progress.

As Monika will be gone for the month I hope your patience, grace, and mercy will not run out as I try to juggle all the balls without the help of my best bud or BFF (I'm so hip!! I bet you didn't think I knew what that meant.) It should be very interesting around here. Feel free to come by. Call ahead and be prepared to help. I'm sure if there is an extra pair of hands around here, I will put them to work!! Blessings, Lisa

  1. It was so nice to meet you at FiberFest and to not be the only mother with a few kids running around.

  2. Hi Lisa and Lilley family! I was sad to miss Fiber Fest this year but I'm glad it went well. I really want to come by the shop soon but during the weekdays I have more babies than seats in my car (I watch my sister's and her friend's)so I'll have to come by on a weekend. I hope everyone is doing great.
