Yarn Crawl and FiberFest!

The Yarn Crawl is almost over. We have had such a wonderful time meeting everyone and hope to see you all again!

REMINDER: We will resume regular shop hours of Fri and Sat. 10-5 beginning in Oct.
We will also be closed Oct 2 and 3 for a family trip. We will still have our Thurs evening knit-in on Oct 1st. Hope to see you there!

We are very busy gearing up for FiberFest! Only 14 more days! We will be doing basic blending on a drum carder demo, needle felting demo, as well as ongoing spinning and weaving demos.

We will also be doing a free drawing for a needle felting kit at 4pm. Must be present to win.

  1. How fun! I hope I can swing by the Fiberfest. I have to work that Saturday but hopefully I won't be too busy that I can attend.

Love to you and your family....

  2. Hi, I enjoyed speaking with Lisa and Monika at Fiberfest this morning. I'll be getting in touch with Monika when she returns for fiddle lessons. For mom: we spoke of a fiddle instruction book and a blog site. The book is Old-Time Fiddle for the Complete Ignoramus! by Wayne Erbsen and it includes a CD so you can see how the music is supposed to sound. The blog is http://coldantlerfarm.blogspot.com/ and is written by a young woman who has struck out on her own homesteading adventures in Vermont while working a full time computer job for a big company. She's inspirational.

My own blog, if you're interested, is www.chickadeeworkshop.wordpress.com I write for myself, my family and friends...all are welcome and please drop me a comment if you visit.
