What a wonderful time at Maryland Sheep and Wool!
It was rather hot for me to even think about touching wool but nevertheless a wonderful and inspiring time!

The only things on my must have list were the CDs of the incredible Martin Family and a unique drop spindle. The CDs were the easiest to find (of course!) but I thought I was in for a wild goose hunt in the search for a drop spindle... boy was I wrong!
Can't wait to post more details and pictures of the drop spindle but it will have to wait as numerous other responsibilities are calling me at the momnet *sigh*.

Also, Congrats to our shearer, Emily Chamelin, for placing second in the 2010 National Blade Shearing Competition!
