BASIC NEEDLE FELTING

DESCRIPTION: Design and create a needle felted wool bag. Using special barbed needle tools and brightly colored wool fiber you will create a one of a kind wearable work of art. Plan a design before you come just as you would plan a picture to draw or paint and take home a finished product. All materials provided. Some basic sewing required. This is art for anyone who thinks they are not creative.

ADVANCE NEEDLE FELTED SCULPTURE
INSTRUCTORS: Lisa & Monika Lilley

AGE OF STUDENTS: 9- Adult
DESCRIPTION: Basic needle felting recommended but not required. Using the barbed needle felting tool, sculpt a life size and life like felted cardinal bird. Wool fiber is a highly versatile medium and is easy and fun to sculpt. Take home a finished sculpture.

DROP SPINDLE SPINNING

AGE OF STUDENTS: 8- Adult
DESCRIPTION: Learn beginning spinning on an ancient tool, the drop spindle. Learn a brief history of the spindle, an overview of fibers, and the ancient art of spinning wool into yarn. Kits will be available for purchase if desired.
